The first DEDAR was a 20min slot at Free Association night 'Important Art'.
February 2022
Lockdowns finished, DEDAR had a 15min slot at South London improv night The Forest.
May 2022
The first hour-long DEDAR was on May 9th 2022 at The Free Association Theatre in Haggerston.
Late 2022
David hired his friend Jasper Fry to photograph him with various objects for DEDAR's first poster. The show was being performed once a month at The FA now.
May 2023
DEDAR travelled to Machynlleth Comedy Festival in Wales. The show has returned to Mach in 2024 and 2025.
September 2023
DEDAR travelled to Wales agin for Aberystwyth Festival, and again in 2024.
May 2024
To celebrate hitting 2 years of monthly shows, David commissioned french artist Justine Joss to make this illustration, which became the new image for the show and was handed out as a memento after shows.
March 2025
DEDAR headlined the Mezrab Alt comedy night in Amsterdam.
April 2025
DEDAR had a sell-out 5-night run at Soho Theatre in London.
June 2025
Artist Mr Bingo hosted DEDAR in his shop in June '25. The show returned in July and September.
July 2025
DEDAR travelled to Bristol for the first time.
August 2025
DEDAR sold out its first fringe run in the Baby Grand, Pleasance Courtyard.
October 2025
DEDAR will be travelling to Manchester to headline Walrus, Improv North's monthly improv night.
March 2026
DEDAR will be part of the Glasgow Comedy Festival in March 2026.
