DAVID ELMS
David has been performing improv for 15 years, both short and long-form, having cut his teeth as one of The Improverts while at the University of Edinburgh. He taught at the Free Association between 2017-2024, where he was a member of veteran house team The Cartel, and now runs leapday, an improv school and community based out of Seven Dials Playhouse in The West End.
As well as improvising, David acts and is most well-known for playing Goldsworth in Nick Mohammed's Mr Swallow shows at the Edinburgh fringe and in the West End, and for playing Clive in the semi-improvised sitcom Borderline.
He started performing his one-man improv show David Elms Describes A Room at The Free Association theatre in May 2022, where it has a monthly residency. The show has now been performed around the UK and beyond, including sell-out runs at London's Soho Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe.
Where should he take it next?
